Welcome to my website! (updated 01/24/2012 )
I have gone on record repeatedly about the Church of Scientology's abuses. One of the worst is the Sea Organization, a "religious order" (well, technically it is, though it's quite toxic. It's not a good religious order or a good church, for that matter). They have a punishment detail that has been very rough on people. Some people have been imprisoned, starved and kept from their spouses there.
I was outraged and I thought, what kind of "rehabilitation" (it's called The Rehabilitation Project Force aka "RPF") could you have when it's so abusive? How would that help anyone?
So in the spirit of love and outrage, I wrote a parody. Now, it should be obvious to anyone who has at least the IQ of the average philodendron that this is meant as a swipe at the Church of Scientology. Not only that, but in the venue where I originally posted it, I said exactly that. That these things in my essay- which are NOTHING LIKE what people actually experience in the RPF or the Sea Org- are what I wish people would experience in the church instead of being starved and imprisoned.
Some people liked the essay. A minority didn't, and two thirds of that minority were people who have, well, I won't burden you with it, but let's just say they're written a lot about me for a very long time.
In an alternate fantasy non existent universe, the Church of Scientology and any efforts it made to "rehabilitate" people (which if it were really a nice organization, it wouldn't even be using such bullshit Soviet/Communist China style terms, right?) would actually be altruistic and pleasant. Of course, it's not that way and that's why I say "fantasy" "alternative universe" and "non existent".
But how I wish that these people could have been treated with decency and respect and received real love from their church instead of abuse and slavery. It is with that in mind that I tender this essay. You decide how you feel about it.

Of course I believe CofS to be unsalvageable. But, as we've sometimes discussed, what would I get rid of or change if I thought otherwise?
The RPF. In fact, I would not even have a Sea Org.
But, what if I thought I could reform it instead of just whap it off the face of the earth?
Ok, so here's what the RPF should be. This is Fluffy's RPF.
It's for REHABILITATION, right? So if someone's sent there, you want them rehabilitated. That doesn't mean tormented or mistreated. How is that going to rehabilitate anyone?
So with that in mind, here are suggested changes, here's Fluffy's RPF:
RPFers will continue to wear armbands to individualize them from the other SOers. They shall be bright pink, spangled and have smiley faces on them.
Other staff will continue to behave differently toward RPFers than toward those in ordinary standing. RPFers will, therefore, be constantly be greated with handshakes, thumps on the back, hugs and words of encouragement. Coming up and handing the RPFer a flower is permissable, as long as said RPFer has no allergies to said flower.
RPFers will be often sent to places where they can destimulate. Mountain air at ski resorts and nature hikes will be possibly ideal for this. Loneliness will sometimes be addressed by days at petting zoos, skating rinks and other places.
The food will be different, too. It is RPF, after all. I'm sorry to say that we've made a decision to elminate refined sugar from their diets while they're on the RPF. The food will be balanced, nutritious, tasty and RPFers will be required to take vitamins, barring any medical condition contraindicating such. There will be milk, juice, filtered water but no pop. The food will be organic. Underweight people get an extra meal a day.
RPFers will be required to get a minimum of 7 hours sleep up to 8.5 hours. The only exception will be if they wake up early on their own.
Every day will start with meditation, gentle stretching and for those who want it, some gentle life repair style auditing. There will still be staff study but it will be less than 4 hours a day. Later in the day, visiting time for families. The times will be quite lengthy, particularly if the person has children. Provision will be made for romance and alone time with "2ds". Please notify us in advance if such needs to take place as we have to get the fixings for the candlelight dinners and extra bedding and the rose petals for the sheets.
If the person's really messed up, they go to the RPF's RPF. There will be medical exams to see if there's anything else going on with the person. Staff study will be suspended and the armbands will be lilac in color and scented. This is still on the drawing board as we've not completed this section yet.
Personnel will be interviewed frequently to see how they're doing and if they still want to be there. Even if they are not rehabilitated, they are not to be kept there if they don't want to be there.
If rehabilitation fails, the person will be gently reintroduced to non Scn society. The team member (that's what we call them now) will be encouraged to get in touch with family and friends. Trainfare will be purchased and severance pay will be sent with the person. Those who have no family or friends to put them up may receive additional severance.
Anyone wishing to quit the organization will have a decree of termination of membership in which other church members are encouraged to stay in touch with the person since good friends are not easy to find. The phrases "mutual parting of the ways" and "let us know if you need anything" with a toll free number must be included in said decree.

UPDATE!!-- the "Ideal org" work recommenced after I set up this blog. I'm sure they were going to do it ANYWAY but I found the timing rather interesting. And it's now complete. I went and filmed the event 07/24/10 although they had the streets cordoned off so that only those who passed the "checkpoint Charlies" so to speak, could get in. But I got in anyway and I filmed most of the speeches and put them up on youtube.

My background and stance:
I'm a former Church of Scientology member and no longer consider myself to be an independent or "indie" Scientologist (I am the one who coined that phrase) but still find some of the concepts to be interesting, though they are not as effective as advertised, and am a critic of the Church of Scientology, L. Ron Hubbard and elements of the Scientology philosophy/methodology itself.
Here's my critical resume:
I am the admin of www.scnforum.org - I'm an odd choice for that, sure, but my thing is freedom of speech.
Contributor to the following discussion forums:
alt.religion.scientology (doing that is what led to my expulsion from CofS)
Beliefnet's Scientology forums
Operation Clambake
Factnet
Ex Scientologists' message board
Why We Protest forum
Admin of scnforum.org
I have answered questions on askme.com in the past
and currently do so now on allexperts.com as Voltaire's Child.
Because of my objections to Beliefnet banning non CofS Scientologists from several Beliefnet Scientology boards, separate Beliefnet Scientology boards were created for "Freezoners". This is a quasi-generic term for Scientologists operating outside the Church of Scientology.
I gave a radio interview to KAHL radio of San Antonio, TX June 2005.
I also gave a tv interview to a network a few months later but that ended up on the cutting room floor.
I have given interviews to college publications and helped students who were doing term papers with questions they had about Scientology and CofS.
My purpose in doing all this is to let people know about the abuses and problems in CofS and to impart a message of freedom of choice to put it bluntly.
This just isn't true! People do not have to live, worship or believe that way!
